To be successful in this role, it would help if you have:

8+ years programming with JAVA and successfully delivered API’s to production

Understanding / willing to learn JAVA based frameworks such as Springboot, Enterprise Java etc

Develops automated UI regression testing for the SmartBen product portfolio including web and mobile (iOS/Android) UI’s

Assist with research into best architecture/approaches/tools for both web and mobile automated UI testing

Support manual testers with regression test handoff to automation team for inclusion in automated regression test suites

Development of automated tests utilizing VS Code/Playwright/JavaScript platform as well as data-driven automated testing, load testing, etc.

Creation of Page Object Model libraries to be used across all automated tests

Provide support/training to other teams on automated test development

Assist with development of reporting tools/dashboards for automated regression testing

Troubleshoot automated regression failures in our CI/CD pipelines and identify/correct any false failures or brittle tests

Creation/retest of bugs for automated regression testing failures traced to source code changes in the Solution-Under-Test (SUT) that resulted in those failures.

Participate in Agile software development processes for the Test Automation Engineering team including daily standups, sprint planning/refinement, sprint reviews/demos/retros, etc.

Work closely in with Software Development and Product teams in an Agile SDLC environment.

Review business requirements and application designs to assist with creation of test strategies

Design, implement and maintain automation test environments for the SUT

Development, deployment and management of virtualization and automation tools and Meeting deadlines for the assigned work items

Ensuring all projects follow corporate security policies and Learning new tools and processes as needed

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

5 or more years of experience in DevOps process environment or Unix System Administration, or equivalent experience (Salary will be commensurate with experience)

Familiarity with Cloud providers, with AWS preferred

Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools using source control, automated build/test, and code coverage analysis tools

Experience with scripting languages, ideally highly proficient in Python

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, ideally Docker Container Management

Good organizational, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and ability to occasionally travel with overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications

Certification with Amazon Web Services strongly preferred: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Administrator, and/or AWS DevOps Engineer

Knowledge of DevOps best practices as these relate to software application lifecycle/release processes

Proficient in designing and running test cycles, unit tests, and test scripts for embedded vehicle control systems and software applications using any test framework

Strong experience using toolchains, supporting, and developing with the following applications: Jira, Bamboo, Git/Bitbucket, Confluence

AWS Technologies: VPA, Cloud Formation, Route 53, IAM, EC2, S3, Dynamo DB and Linux administration and bash scripting

Ability to query databases with general understanding of database administration

Familiarity with implementing security into an application solution

Understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies and associated ways of working and Project leadership experience

Package and support deployment of releases and Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications

Analyze and resolve technical and application problems

Minimum 8 years of extensive experience with C# and ASP.net Webforms / .NET Core 2.0 ,3.1 / .NET Web API core framework concepts and fundamentals/ MVC and EF, Angular8+

REST Web services & API Experience Agile Delivery experience

Experience with database development including relational database design, SQL, and ORM

Deploying .NET Core web application/API in Windows and Linux

Experience with web development technologies including ASP.NET, MVC, EF, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX and CSS, LINQ, Angular8+

Experience with core Microsoft .NET technologies including LINQ, and EF

Experience with source control management systems and deployment environment

Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization

Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories

Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
